Join the Tana Team as Vice President, Product Marketing & Business Development

Are you ready to drive growth and innovation in a global environmental technology company? Tana Oy is looking for a visionary leader to shape our product marketing and business development, including Tana’s M&A projects.  

As the VP, Product Marketing & Business Development you will report directly to the Tana CEO and be a key member of our management team. You will be responsible for leading and developing Tana’s product marketing and business development functions, driving strategic growth and portfolio leadership. Together with your team you actively track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, as well as develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions, Additionally, you will develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market presence and drive business growth. 

Important part of your responsibilities will be to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, both organic and through M&A, to support Tana’s long-term objectives. You also oversee the entire M&A process, from opportunity identification to post-merger integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.

Expectations:

We are looking for a candidate with proven leadership experience in product management/product marketing and business development, preferably in heavy equipment business area. You have a deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, product lifecycle management and market analysis.  

Experience in M&A process, including strategic analysis, negotiation, and integration is also needed. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical functions are essential, as well as strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities. A master’s degree in a relevant field of technology and/or business is required, EMBA or similar degree is an advantage. Fluency in Finnish and English is also essential.
