Strategic Purchaser
We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing our supply chain and implementing Tana procurement strategy. We expect you to bring innovative ideas and best practices that will help us develop our operations and achieve our goals more efficiently.
In your role, you are responsible for the agreed technical procurements and the preparation of procurement contracts, you also independently carry out related contract negotiations. You actively develop the supply chain, while monitoring and reacting to changes in the market and the world situation. You develop procurement activities in close cooperation with international suppliers and partners and drive the necessary changes forward. You will also collaborate with Tana’s internal teams and other external stakeholders to investigate issues and implement corrective measures.
Expectations for background:
We expect you to have a suitable technical or commercial education and solid experience in procurement in the technical field, preferably in an international environment. You have proven experience in proactive development of the supply chain and the ability to prioritize tasks in complex and challenging situations. You can function effectively in various challenging negotiation situations and demonstrate good social skills and situational awareness in them. Since we operate in a truly international environment, you can work efficiently in both Finnish and English. This role involves occasional travel, so we expect you to be ready for this as well.
