As our service business grows and develops, we are looking for a Manager, Spares & Wares to join the Tana team. In this important role you will lead the spares & wares team and have the overall responsibility for our global spares & wares business.
As the Manager, Spares & Wares, you will be instrumental in developing our global spare and wear parts business, with a focus on expanding the wear parts segment and assessing the feasibility of possible local manufacturing.
Together with you team, you drive sales, marketing and delivery of spares, wears, and service kits through various channels. You also have the overall responsibility for logistics, and you work closely with our sourcing team to ensure successful supply and delivery.
You have an important role in the offering development, including intelligent spares, new wear parts and new kits. Your responsibilities also include further development of digital solutions boosting your business and integrating spares and wears business to warranties and maintenance contracts.
In this role you work in active cooperation with our global dealers and customers analyzing customer’s spares & wares needs and ensuring minimized downtime jointly with the professional Tana dealers. Successful partnership building and optimization of ways of working include travelling as well as working together with Tana on-site customers, dealers and partners from different cultures.
As the Manager, Spares & Wares you will lead and develop your team, including resourcing, goal setting and competence development. You ensure team members understand their role, you encourage your team and inspire them to action and help them realize their potential. In addition to your team manager responsibilities, you will also be an integral part of the Tana Service Management Team.
Expectations for background:
- Proven experience in after-sales and heavy equipment business on a global scale.
- Hands on experience in working in spares & wares business, preferably with strong focus on ramping up wears business.
- Background in sourcing is a plus.
- Strong motivation to develop and grow the business.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in working in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluent communication skills in English and at least some knowledge in Finnish.
