CleanR Verso, a waste management company in Latvia, has implemented the electric TANA Shark ET shredder to efficiently process a wide range of material streams, including tires, wood chips, and construction waste. This move reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.

Previously, CleanR Verso had experience with TANA equipment through subcontractors using diesel-powered TANA Shark models. However, the shift to an electric shredder marks a step forward in both environmental responsibility and cost-effectiveness.

“After researching the market, we became convinced that TANA was the right fit for our needs, which led us to choose this specific electric TANA model,” says Margo Ojapervs, Head of the Production Department at CleanR Verso.

The electric TANA Shark ET offers several key advantages:

  • Lower energy consumption
  • Reduced maintenance requirements
  • Environmentally friendly operation
  • No need for specialized training

With an extended operating cycle of 500 hours and significantly lower energy use compared to diesel-powered units, the electric shredder was a natural choice for CleanR Verso, whose core values emphasize green thinking.

“We recommend the electric TANA because it is environmentally sustainable, economically efficient, and cost-saving,” Ojapervs adds.
