Tana’s participation in CEMFUELS 2023
The CEMFUELS conference in Türkiye provided a platform for cement industry professionals to explore alternative fuels (AF). Eetu Tuovinen and Josef Imp from Tana attended and are here to share insights.
The conference included a comprehensive short course on AF in cement production, highlighting potential fuel replacement of up to 70% in calciner and 50% in the main burner using AF. A notable conference highlight was the industry’s constant demand for new AF sources. CEMFUELS 2023 shed light on the cement industry’s reliance on AF and showcased Tana’s role in sustainability through flexible and cost-efficient shredding solutions, promising a bright future in this evolving market.
